Series Summary

The Riding The Parenting Roller Coaster Series eventuated out of workshops run by myself (Sean Healy) and Dr Rosie Saxton. We are both passionate about helping parents provide good foundational skills for developing resilient, healthily esteemed children.

The type of start children get greatly impacts their inter personal skills later in life. I am delighted to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Dr Rosie on this project.

Episode Summary

Helping children to develop a sense of trust, belief and confidence in themselves is a big part of the parenting role. As children learn to trust their understanding of the world they become comfortable to take more risks, reach out and engage.

Children who experience parenting that consistently denies their reality perhaps because parents have unresolved wounds or just lack of effective parenting knowledge can really suffer developmental delay.

Children need to be able to know that they can trust their interpretations of what is going on around them in order to develop self-confidence and trust.
